North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) Half Marathon

Entry opens 1st January 2020.

  • Online Entries close midday Friday 5th June 2020.
  • Late registration is available in person from 12pm to 4.30pm Saturday 6th June at the Mackay Marina Run precinct Marina Village car park.
  • Race bib must be collected on Saturday 6th June between 12pm and 4.30pm at the Marina Village car park on Mulherin Drive.

Distance: 21.1km

Start time: 6.30am

Arrive at marina precinct: 5.30am

Early bird entry fee: $80 per person (up to 8th March 2020)

Entry fee: $90 per person

Age: 21.1km competitors must be 16 years of age at date of the event.

Registration for the 2020 BMA Mackay Marina Run opens 1st January 2020.

Course

The 21.1km course is a flat, fast, out and back course with a 10km loop in the middle. Runners enter the loop off Harbour Road, run though the Gooseponds parkland to the first crossing of the Pioneer River and head into the City. The course winds past Caneland Central Shopping Centre along the Bluewater Trail and returns to the marina via a second crossing of the Pioneer River and Harbour Road. The final 2km is a circuit though the spectacular Mackay Marina Village.

Aid Stations

MIRI Aid stations are located at 3km, 7km, 14km, 16.5km and 19km.

Sports drink available in addition to water at 7km and 14km.

An event singlet is included with all half marathon event registrations prior to 19th April 2020.
