
Q: What do you like about running?
A: What I like about running is the thinking time you get whilst running helps clear the mind. Benefits from running for me include more energy for the every day grind of life.
Q: Would you recommend running and why?
A: I would recommend running to anyone who wanted to improve their overall fitness. It is also a great way to clear your mind. It’s not all about running fast…just doing the best you can.
Q: What distance are you doing in the BMA Mackay Marina Run?
A: This year I’m tackling the half marathon for the first time I have previous competed in the 8k and 5k.
Q: Do you usually train solo or as part of a group?
A: I do regular group training with road runners and the south side runners and training with Marty. Most of my effort training on the treadmill.
Q: Tell us about your running goals post Mackay Marina Run?
A: My main running goal after the Mackay Marina run is the 14k City to Surf in Sydney. This is a great event, tough because of Heartbreak Hill, but enjoyable as you are encouraged by the massive crowd all the way.
