Q: What specifically do you like about running?
A:
 There are many reasons I like to run, but primarily because it makes me feel good.

Q: What benefits do you get from running?
A: 
It keeps me fit & healthy. I get a lot of enjoyment out of running.

Q: Would you recommend running and why?
A: 
Running gets you up off the couch -it’s so healthy for your mind and body.

Q: What distance are you doing in the BMA Mackay Marina Run?
A: 
I’ll be doing the 5 km run this year.

Q: Have you ever hit a PB at the MMR?
A: 
Yes, my personal best is 20mins.

Q: What would you say to someone who is thinking of entering this event to get a PB?
A: 
Have fun, and do your best. The atmosphere and the crowd on the day is awesome.

Q: Do you usually train solo or as part of a group?
A: 
I do both. There are times when I train on my own and have also trained as part of a group.

Q: Tell us about your running goals post Mackay Marina Run?
A: 
I’m 65 so I want to inspire young and old to run. I’ve won the 5km for my age category in the BMA Mackay Marina Run for the last 8 yrs, and I’m hoping to reach 10 yrs in a row in my age group. My goals also include having fun in runs like the Bridge to Brisbane (last year ran in The Flash costume) while running in competitive times.
