7 Steps for Corporate Challenge Success

So you’ve risen to the occasion and you’re now a Corporate Challenge Team Leader – well done legend! Now it’s time to gather your crew and lean into our mission of raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

Whether you’re looking to teambuild, motivate your staff or enter into a bit of friendly rivalry with your peers – here are 7 top tips to ensure your participation in the North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporate Challenge is a success.

Step 1: Use Our Resources To Gather Your Crew

Hype the office up and gather your running crew. Use the resources we supply to share around the office and generate interest amongst your team.

Step 2: Set Up Your Team in Our System

The first person to register automatically becomes the Team Captain, with full visibility and management access.

Managing multiple teams or need a co-captain? Reach out to event@mackaymarinarun.com and we can manually add one for you.

Once set up, forward the registration link to your colleagues along with our Sign-Up Flyer.

Step 3: Book Your Team On Our Bus

Trust us – the last thing you will want on race day, is trying to locate all your team members. Ensure a stress free experience by using our FREE bus shuttle service.  Share the schedule with your team and make sure they book the bus when registering in Race Roster.

Step 4: Lean Into Our Cause

Every dollar makes a difference. Share your team’s fundraising link with colleagues, suppliers, friends and family. Use our marketing kit to gather support by adding our email ribbon to your email signatures and posting our timeline and story graphics to your social channels.

For further bragging rights, we also have trophies on offer for the highest fundraising team and the highest individual fundraiser.

Step 5: Invite A Little Friendly Competition

Is the neighbouring business up for the challenge? Start a little friendly competition by challenging another business to also join our 5km Corporate Challenge. Nothing sparks workplace bonding quite like corporate rivalry, especially with a trophy on offer for the fastest team.

Step 6: Plan Your Kit

This is the fun part. Unite your squad and ensure maximum brand exposure! Whether it’s coordinated colours, branded tees or themed costumes, this is your chance to stand out and have a little fun. Don’t hold back because we have a trophy for best dressed team!

Step 7: Plan your afterparty!

The best part of any challenge is the post-event celebrations! Whether it’s brunch, coffee at the Marina or a full team lunch, lock it in early. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram or Facebook so we can share the fun.

We can’t wait to see your crew, costumes and all, bringing all the energy to the Marina on June 7. So, finalise your team, share your registration link and start fundraising!
