The flat, fast and scenic course is perfect to set a PB, to experience your first Half Marathon or as a lead in run to the Gold Coast Marathon in July.
Your journey starts at the Mackay Marina, looping through leafy Gooseponds and over the picturesque blue Pioneer River.
Supporters and live music create an awesome atmosphere as you run the Bluewater trail to River Wharves.
It’s now time to cross Forgan Bridge taking in the spectacular river view and return to the Marina. Those last 2km are brimming with run motivators, live entertainment and Mackay comes out in droves to get you over the finish line.
All half marathon finishers receive a unique Mackay Region inspired medal.
